The project from which we expanded our Floating PV capability for businesses and water-asset owners.
From Poland’s first commercial FPV installation to business solar projects.
In 2021, we built Poland’s first commercial Floating PV installation. Today, we bring together experience from rooftops, ground arrays, carports and water assets.

9 completed Floating PV installations in the ARTA portfolio.
The wider record includes rooftop, ground-mounted and business solar work.
Business delivery experience includes utility-scale projects and solar carports.
Figures reflect ARTA’s delivery experience in Floating PV and business solar.
Business solar: rooftop, ground, carport and water.
ARTA’s experience does not begin at the water’s edge. We design and deliver solar for businesses where power can work close to demand: on roofs, owned land, parking areas and water. The solution follows the asset—not the other way around.
What we review before an offer
One partner, different types of solar.
The right technology depends on the site, demand pattern and business model. The scope can begin with analysis and end with a commissioned installation.
Rooftop solar
Solar for factories, warehouses and service buildings, assessed against loading, electricity demand and connection conditions.
Ground-mounted solar
A route for owned land when the project does not conflict with production, logistics or expansion plans.
Solar carports
On-site generation, covered parking and the option to stage wider site infrastructure.
Floating PV
A tailored option for industrial, retention, water-treatment and post-extraction water assets.
One team takes decisions from the first conversation to commissioning.

- 04Deliverinstallation, handover and documentation
Demand profile
15-minute data, self-consumption, operating hours and the electricity settlement model.
Water body and site
Surface, geometry, depth, water-level variation and access to the shore.
Anchoring and grid
Wind, waves, ground, cable route, switchgear and a realistic connection point.
Scale and phasing
EPC scope, programme, phased delivery and whether a BESS has a sound business case.
Where Floating PV can solve a practical problem.
Not every site needs solar on water. We assess Floating PV when the water asset, energy demand and infrastructure form a sound case together.

Factory, warehouse, cold store
When a company consumes electricity during the day and has a technical or retention reservoir nearby, we compare Floating PV with rooftop, ground and carport options.

Water utilities and treatment plants
At water-sector sites, available surface is only one input. Service access, process safety, technical infrastructure and purchased-energy cost matter just as much.

Designed for all seasons
Where a water body may freeze, we account for ice and snow loads when selecting the structure. At every site, we also review wind, anchoring and service access.

Post-extraction and industrial water
A former industrial water body can gain a new role. First, we verify ownership, geometry, environmental conditions, access and grid connection.
We assess Floating PV as one technical route, always against the conditions of the specific asset.
Land beneath modules
A water surface can generate electricity without taking productive or agricultural land out of use.
Module operating conditions
Lower module operating temperature above water can be one factor in technical assessment.
More site options
A technical water asset can complement rooftop, ground or parking-area solar when the business needs more PV surface.
Closer to demand
Technical reservoirs may sit close to industrial, municipal and water-sector infrastructure that consumes energy.
Technology benefits must be confirmed against the data, design and grid conditions of the specific site.

In Floating PV, the details determine whether the project will work for years.
Buoyancy is only the beginning. We bring the floating structure, anchoring, platform movement, cable route, grid connection and service rules together with the investor’s real energy profile.
- Anchoring suited to shore, bed, wind and water-level variation
- Cable routes and grid connection fitted to the asset’s infrastructure
- Technical, formal and commercial assumptions described before ordering
- Coordination of supply, installation, commissioning and as-built documentation

Practical questions before a decision.
Does ARTA deliver only Floating PV?
No. ARTA has experience with rooftop systems, ground-mounted solar, carports and business projects. FPV is an option for particular conditions, not the starting point for every conversation.
What should we prepare before a conversation?
Location, basic water-body or land information, a 15-minute consumption profile, connection conditions and the investment goal are the most useful starting inputs.
Does Floating PV work in winter?
It can, but the structure, anchoring, ice and snow loads and service access must be checked separately for the specific site.
Can I receive a guaranteed yield or saving immediately?
No. Yield, cost and programme follow the asset data, technical and formal conditions and delivery model. We start by presenting assumptions that can be verified.
Have a site, water body or rising energy cost? Let’s talk.
Tell us where the site is and what needs to change. In the first conversation, we can decide whether to compare rooftop, ground, carport, Floating PV or energy-storage options.
